Resort Maintenance Services was created to serve a growing need for the owners of Vacation Homes and Properties in Suncadia, Tumble Creek and Upper Kittitas County.
Jeff Hansell, owner of Swiftwater Custom Homes, was one of the first builders to arrive in Suncadia back in 2004. With over 40 years of homebuilding experience, Jeff not only knows what it takes to build a quality home, he knows what it takes for maintenance and upkeep, especially in a challenging high alpine climate.
Homes built to today’s standards are more complicated, with systems and materials we could have only dreamed of 40 years ago. Simple maintenance just isn’t that simple anymore. Remember when you could change the oil and filters in your car or truck? The same could be said for homes these days. Jeff and his wife Lori became full time residents of Suncadia in 2008 and were constantly being asked if they knew of a “good maintenance guy” or someone that could handle a small project. Coordinating and scheduling someone trustworthy to do these things is a challenge, especially if you’re not here full time. Trying to do this on a weekend, while you’re here, typically means that you’ll be paying overtime- and who wants to pay more and waste their time waiting for and managing maintenance or a small project on the weekend anyway?
Out of all of this was born the idea of Resort Maintenance Services: a trustworthy group of professionals with years of actual building management experience that would take care of the maintenance and small projects at your vacation home while you’re away. Having us watch over your vacation home while you’re not there means you’ll be able to enjoy your home when you are.
We have developed a comprehensive list of things we can maintain and manage for you. A free inspection of your home will allow us to provide a price list of tasks that we can do- you simply check off what you want, and we’ll make it happen. Only want us to change smoke detector batteries and light bulbs? No problem! Need to have your deck re-stained or your garage pressure washed? Can do!
